Philips 22" HDTV 22PFL3504D/F7 May 27, 2009 W. Smith 25 out of 25 found this review helpful
Excellent 22" HDTV. Nice for kitchen, bedroom, office or small rec-room. GREAT picture!!!
Includes 2 HDMI ports (1 back and 1 side), Component connections, S-Video and etc.
When you program the channels on setup it picks up both analog and digital channels.
You don't need a set-top cable box to get a great picture just hook the cable from the wall to the TV rf in.
Hooked to an antenna the digital channels look fantastic.
The sound is what you expect from a small TV...good but not great.
The remote color including the buttons is very dark and hard to read in dim lighting but works great.
Great little TV!!!

This is my third Philips TV. I've had nothing but good service from them. Very good product, great value for money spent.
Great TV March 26, 2010 C. Vagt 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Wonderful picture and excellent sound for its size. It was easy to set up and I like the way the settings assistant feature helps you configure the picture to your personal taste. I have connected the TV to a DirectTV HD receiver with the HDMI cable and have experienced no problems at all; it looks and sounds great.
The Perfect TV For Me! April 17, 2010 J. Miller The last TV I purchased was in 1997--a 13" Sharp. I thought it was time to upgrade. So I purchased the Philips 22PFL3504D TV three months ago and I am thrilled with it.
The setup was a breeze--it takes you through several screens to set picture preferences and then scans for channels. I don't have cable and with this television I no longer have to use my rabbit ears for some reason--it receives the broadcast stations better than the old TV with an antenna. Hooking up my DVD player was quick and simple.
The TV is 9' from the seating area and for me it's more than adequate for my viewing needs. The picture is very clear--no more little dots like the old television! Color is great, the sound is clear, the remote is easy to use. The picture quality is great in a dark room or in bright light.
Attaching the base to the TV took me a few minutes--the screws are small and the holes to place them are tight, but I made it. The included manual is easy to read and very thorough.
For anyone that wants to upgrade to something better than their old TV but doesn't want something overwhelmingly large, the Philips 22" may be just what you need.
Really nice TV May 26, 2010 KwQd (Central Illinois) I have had this set in my bedroon for about a month, now. I looked at this one for months at the local department store where it was displayed next to several other, similar sized TVs. The Phillips had by far the best quality picture and I planned to pick up when the price went down. Luckily I happened to stop by when the set went on a close out sale and they only had 3 left. So, picture wise, I like this TV better than the competition. It was simple to set up. It was refreshing to see the simplicity of the Menu after my large Sony LCD TV, which is a great TV, too, but complicated and somewhat cumbersome to manage. The sound volume is good for the small room that I have it in, and I am happy with the sound quality. This is a really nice TV and I find myself spending more time in my bedroom, as a result.
