Customer Reviews: Great New Brand for an Excellent Price July 10, 2010 Throw in the Towel I love this Television...I'm a college student and this is in my apt & its perfect.
TV May 9, 2010 Wayne O. Shippy (tempe, arizona usa) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
We are satisfied with the tv except for a couple of things. We thought we would be able to get HD channels but are not able to. We bought this tv specifically because of the 'tilt' feature but the tilt is so minimal that it really isn't helpful. Maybe our expectations were too high. The picture/sound quality is very good.
Trouble syncing with Dish DVR June 19, 2010 Zhadowz (Acton, CA) I bought this item a few weeks ago and after trying to get clarity on certain details, I had to return it.
The problem was that I have a Dish 625 DVR. This unit requires the second set to be set to channel 60. But this TV was not able to recognize the signal from the Dish box. I tried new cables, switching sets (my set worked well), bypassing my in wall wiring and wiring direct to the switcher box. After all of this the TV said "not receiving signal".
Giving up on all these ideas I called Viore at the number on the carton. I explained all of the above to the gentleman who answered my call. He said, "I never heard of anything like this". I asked "Do you have any suggestions" and he said "Just tune the set to channel 3" and he ended the call.
So I reluctantly returned the set.
